Taking cues from retro-futuristic films such as Robocop and Blade Runner, R.A.D. pits you against the alien hoard that may or may not one day be responsible for crimes against humanity. Better not take that chance then...

For the sound design, many of the sounds were created by circuit bending old Casio keyboards. The weird and bizarre sounds that resulted from these experiments matched perfectly with the vaporwave/retro-futre vibes of R.A.D. and helped carve a nice little audio identity for the game.
